YOGA METHODOLOGY IMMERSION
This four part course , taught by Senior Dynamic Yoga Teachers Olivia Crooks and Sarah Wilde,
constitites the first part of a 200 hour teacher training, which
is completed with
the WINDFIRE YOGA TEACHING SKILLS INTENSIVE in
France
PART ONE: NOURISHING THE BODY This intensive immersion will focus on the nourishing power of yoga posture practice, upon which all its other possible benefits depend. You will learn a complete practice series designed to invite deep nourishment to body and mind, and some potent pranayama practices for deep release and rejuvenation. The Vinyasasuptasya Practice Series includes inversions, supine and prone poses, backbends, extensions and rotations. You will learn how to access the inherent integrity of the body by way of the Dynamics of Integrity, so that your practice will always be as nourishing as it can be invigorating and transformative.
PART TWO: AWAKENING THE BODY London This intensive immersion will focus on the power of yoga posture practice to awaken the latent intelligence of the body.You will learn a complete practice series designed to awaken all the muscles of the body. The Vinyasxandrasya Practice Series systematically sensitises and awakens the whole body while awakening the mind to the power and wisdom of somatic intelligence. You will learn how to access the inherent intelligence of the body by way of the Seven Universal Actions of yoga posture practice, so that your practice can deepen safely and effectively.
PART THREE: OPENING THE BODY London This intensive immersion will focus on the power of yoga posture practice to access the latent potential of the body. You will learn a complete practice series designed to mobilise and open the whole body. The Vinyasasyurasya Practice Series, with its emphasis on strengthening and opening backbends, systematically opens and stabilises the whole body while releasing deep tension form muscles and joints. You will learn how to open your body through the art of progressive sequentiality or Vinyasakrama satisfyingly and safely.
PART FOUR: INTEGRATING THE BODY London This intensive immersion will focus on the power of yoga posture practice to integrate the body structurally and energetically. You will learn a complete practice series designed to recalibrate and integrate the whole body. The VInyasasukasya Practice Series uses lunges and standing postures to integrate the body through the application of the spiral dynamic of the bandhas. You will learn how to somatically integrate the apparently separate parts of the body by accessing their intinsic interconnectivity so that your practice can easily provide you with a deep experience of wholeness.
