THE DYNAMIC YOGA
DEPTH INTENSIVE

(110 contact hours )

provides a deep exploration of the technical methodology of yoga posture practice and its underlying biomechanical, anatomical and physiloogical principles. This is an intense course suitable for all yoga practitioners interested in deepening their practice and understanding of yoga. Over 250 yoga techniques are explored in depth: through practice, presentation, explanation, observation and exploration. The techniques are explored both in their own right, and also as lenses through which the Dynamics of Integrity can be clarified and then embodied by integrating the Seven Universal Actions of Yoga Posture Practice through the agency of the Spiral Dynamic of Integrity.

THE PRACTICAL CONTENT includes a detailed exploration of 200 yoga postures, 60 dynamic posture techniques (namaskar, ullola, vinyasa), 7 bandhas, 20 breathing and meditation techniques. The postures are taught in groups based on shared mechanical principles that clarify the functional simplicity of yoga posture practice when based on the Seven Universal Actions of Yoga Posture Practice. All techniques will be practiced in a class format, presented and analysed by a course tutor, and explored individually, in pairs and in groups.

THE THEORETICAL CONTENT includes:
