WINDFIRE YOGA
TEACHERS CERTIFICATES
We have demonstrated that our Training Courses comply to the highest standards of Yoga Teacher Training. Satisfactory completion of the appropriate courses entitles you to either a 200 hour or 500 Yoga Teacher's Certificate. You will then be able to register with the YOGA REGISTER. This is an International Professional Register recognised by Yoga Schools and Yoga Centres, as well as by the Fitness Industry. Our certificates also entitle you to register separately with REPS (Register of Exericise Professionals).
To receive a 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga Teaching Certificate you will need to:
- Attend the Windfire Yoga Depth Intensive.
- Attend the Windfire Yoga Teaching Skills Course.
- Complete a written paper on the method and teaching of yoga.
- Satisfy Godfri that you are competent and ready to teach.
If you allready hold a 200 hour yoga teacher's certificate from us or another school you are entitled you to receive a 500 hour Vinyasa Yoga Teaching Certificate on completion of the Depth Intensive and Teaching Skills Courses, or by succesfully completing 200 contact hours of Teacher Training from our non-residential Modular trainings.
To receive a 500 hour Dynamic Yoga Teaching Certificate you will need to:
- Attend the Windfire Yoga Foundation Course.
- Attend the Windfire Yoga Intermediate Course.
- Attend the Windfire Yoga Depth Intensive.
- Attend the Windfire Yoga Teaching Skills Course.
- Complete a written paper on the method and teaching of yoga.
- Satisfy Godfri that you are competent and ready to teach.
Assessment Procedure
The Assessment process is ongoing and is based on embodiment of the Dynamics of Integrity, understanding the subtleties of the yoga method, and ease with Vinyasa Krama (the art of progressive instruction). A Yoga Teaching Certificate is only issued on the basis of satisfactory final assessment.
